hibernation partition on a Sony VAIO z505s ...

I made sure I created on that was 200Meg in size (the laptop has 192Meg of
RAM), but I don't have any of the original disks with this thing (it was a
hand me down) ... is ther anything I can do to 'format' that partition so
that it will work properly?
