Hello,
I'm trying to run wireless card on my Compaq N610c (FreeBSD 5.1
todays current) and NEWCARD doesn't work for me. After kldload if_wi in
dmesg I have the following:
cbb1: <TI1420 PCI-CardBus Bridge> mem 0x40080000-0x40080fff at device 6.1
on pci 2
cardbus2: <CardBus bus> on cbb1
pccard2: <16-bit PCCard bus> on cbb1
cbb: Unable to map IRQ...
device_probe_and_attach: cbb1 attach returned 12
I've tried to run Nokia Card Phone 2.0 and it works well. On
notebook I turned ACPI off because ACPI still doesn't work (APM is turned
off too) and added one line to my loader.conf.local:
hw.pci.allow_unsupported_io_range="1"
