On April 30, 2002, mingo lu sent me the following: > Gated is no longer freeware any more. So what freebsd > is using for routing? This is really more of a question for -isp I think. When I worked for an ISP, we got rather sick of GateD and it's various bugs and the horror of configuration, and so we switched to Zebra. I believe it's in the ports collection now. It's fairly easy to setup and use, and tries it's best to present a Cisco-like interface via telnet for control and monitoring. It supports BGP, OSPF, and RIP, last time I checked. Havn't really kept up with it though. -- Chip Marshall <[email protected]> http://www.chocobo.cx/chip/ GCM/CS d+(-) s+:++ a20>?
