If you try to do kldload snd_ich, is sound working? > More news, booted into Linux, and after I install teh apropriate module. this machine wil "sort of" play an MP3. It "stutters" _a lot_. I'm suspecting a BIOS issues based upon this page: http://larve.net/people/hugo/2002/12/evo410 Unfortunately, it will be Monday before I can update the BIOS, as the downloadable update only runs under windows (where t creates a boot update disk, tell me why the need windows for this ?). I have no M$ based machines, and I will have to wait to acces one at work (no not mine, somebody elses). Unlesss some kind soul wants to download it, and mail me the floppy image it creates? -- "They that would give up essential liberty for temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety." -- Benjamin Franklin _______________________________________________ [email protected] mailing list http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-mobile To unsubscribe, send any mail to "[email protected]"
