I'm running -CURRENT on a Sharp Actius um32w last cvsupped on Sep 28 at 9:25 PDT. An account of what works and doesn't is at: http://www.grot.org/laptop/sharp_actius_um32w.html this is a nice small, light, thin laptop with lots of stuff built in, however ACPI support is hardly out-of-the-box good...nothing surprising! S5 works, and S1 doesn't. S3, S4 although they put the machine to sleep, and there is activity when you wake it up, don't seem to wake up the display. Any hints on improving the ACPI support would be much appreciated. Also, the USB causes a page fault when copying the *second* file from a umass device (a camera in the case I tried) -- the first file is fine oddly enough... Thanks, Adi sysctl hw.acpi gives: hw.acpi.supported_sleep_state: S3 S4 S5 hw.acpi.power_button_state: S5 hw.acpi.sleep_button_state: S1 hw.acpi.lid_switch_state: S1 hw.acpi.standby_state: S1 hw.acpi.suspend_state: S3 hw.acpi.sleep_delay: 5 hw.acpi.s4bios: 0 hw.acpi.verbose: 0 hw.acpi.disable_on_poweroff: 1 hw.acpi.cpu.max_speed: 8 hw.acpi.cpu.current_speed: 8 hw.acpi.cpu.performance_speed: 8 hw.acpi.cpu.economy_speed: 4 hw.acpi.thermal.min_runtime: 0 hw.acpi.thermal.polling_rate: 30 hw.acpi.thermal.tz0.temperature: 3181 hw.acpi.thermal.tz0.active: -1 hw.acpi.thermal.tz0.thermal_flags: 0 hw.acpi.thermal.tz0._PSV: 3581 hw.acpi.thermal.tz0._HOT: -1 hw.acpi.thermal.tz0._CRT: 3681 hw.acpi.thermal.tz0._ACx: 3431 3361 3281 -1 -1 -1 -1 -1 -1 -1 hw.acpi.battery.life: 98 hw.acpi.battery.time: -1 hw.acpi.battery.state: 0 hw.acpi.battery.units: 1 hw.acpi.battery.info_expire: 5 hw.acpi.acline: 1 _______________________________________________ [email protected] mailing list http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-mobile To unsubscribe, send any mail to "freebsd-mobile-unsubscribe=h+KGxgPPiopAfugRpC6u6w@public.gmane.org"
