Just curious... Not necessarily. Many of the PC Card/CardBus bridges list IRQ 6 as 'reserved' and might not work (hmmm, that's in ISA mode, so maybe not). It might also be that IRQ 6 isn't setup right to be a PCI interrupt. Maybe the south bridge has a floppy controller in it, even if your laptop doesn't have a floppy drive.
