RE: XFree86 on Toshiba Tecra M1

I have a pressario laptop with a Cyberblade i1 which has a nasty freeze running X. Will try 8bit VESA to verfiy this is causing the freeze.
Could some-one give me a pointer to that Trident driver info/problem so I don't have to bug the list.
