HI! I don't know if this is the right place where to post this problem!!!

The problem is that I cannot have the duration of the battery on my laptop
COMPAQ PRESARIO 1800 with BIOS phoenix (I don't find any update for the
BIOS)
I Have tried with APM and ACPI.
With APM I can have the charge of it only in percent, but I don't know how
to
configure the POWER button to shutdown the machine as in ACPI.
with ACPI I got some errors at the boot, and the suspend doesn't really
work,
the monitor stay on and when it "wake up" I get some errors that I think are
related with the initial errors.

Sorry for my english, I know is not great at all!!

thanks a lot.
