I just got a Prism2 card at Frys for $26 - it's the AirLink+ WLC010. It works with FreeBSD stable. When I tap on it the card has this hollow sound that doesn't inspire confidence but it works with FreeBSD stable. I have not been able to test it hard but so far it seems to work OK. Then I got on the web and looked up this card. It seems to be a generic card from Taiwan and labeled differently for various store brands - but all using WLC010 as the part number. I found at least 3 other brands with 802.11b cards with the same specs, photos and part number - very odd. I have been told that I should be carefull of store brands because they change suppliers without changing part numbers. So I would take this with a grain of salt. But I thought I would share my experience. Henry Peter Radcliffe wrote: >Various people have been posting looking for 802.11b wireless cards >that are happy with -stable.
