It happened on my X23.  If you use 4.5-release like I do, what you
need is some patches.
http://www-2.cs.cmu.edu/~dpelleg/X23_freebsd.html might help you.  It
is said that those patches are included in 4.6-release, which a lot of
people are waiting for. :)
