I have sony vaio pcg-v505bx. In very recent current, usb seems dead, but
I think it's a temporary failure. Generally, everything works ok except
suspend to RAM - due to the lacks of acpi_video support, my laptop
resumes well but lid display becomes dead, and all I can do is to ssh on
laptop remotely and reboot it. If suspend is not critical for you, VAIO
is suitable laptop for freebsd, IMHO. At least pcg-v505 series :)
You can see my current dmesg: http://62.89.204.61/vaio_dmesg.txt
