Mozilla 1.0-rc works for root only..

I have a strange behaviour under FreeBSD 4.5:

When I start mozilla (1.0-rc) as root, 
everything works fine (except for the missing
Java JRE).

When I start it as regular user, just nothing
happens.

Is there some permission to fix?
