--- Comment #59 from Keve Nagy <[email protected]> ---
Uploaded the new test logs.
With the most recently shared patch applied, bge WOL works on both 13.3R and
14.0R.
Mind you, booting the patched GENERIC kernel automatically enables WOL_MAGIC,
no need to issue an "ifconfig bge0 wol". In fact, that command does not seem to
change anything at all.
For reference, I also included the "ifconfig em0" output from a Dell Optiplex
7050 (has no bge). And the behaviour is the same there. WOL_MAGIC is
immediately enabled for the em0, no need for an "ifconfig em0 wol". Although,
this command does seem to enable other WOL_ options for the em0, and those
options I have never seen with the bge interface.

Summary: as much as I can tell, these bge patches achieve WOL, work reliably on
both 13R and 14R. Tested on two different computer models: HP T610 Thin Client,
HP MicroServer N40L. I hope to see this incorporated to the base system.
