Good Morning,

that particular system has been running on 14.2 since June 06, and we have not
seen these hangs again.

So I would proceed to close the ticket as "has been fixed by upgrading".

I would still be curious what would be the best approach to diagnose network
lockup issues, but it's become a bit moot.
