I've tried (-current) if_re that's in 
/boot/kernel/if_re.ko (by default),

the one resulting from installing /usr/ports/net/realtek-re-kmod

the one resulting from installing /usr/ports/net/realtek-re-kmod198

they all have the same issue - stalling to 20-30 kbps after a very short time
at expected speeds
