I ran into this problem again after upgrading to 14.3 about two months ago.
The last time I tried using the driver from ports, I had issues with IPv6
traffic.
This time, I switched back to the ports version again and added the following
options from the pkg-message:
-rxcsum -txcsum -rxcsum6 -txcsum6
The system has now been running stable for 50 days.
