--- Comment #47 from Tomasz "CeDeROM" CEDRO <[email protected]> ---
So far so good, standard workstation load included:
* downloading over 200GB content in multiple streams.
* vbox machine start, load, stop, start, load, stop, etc. <- that was usually
the most often cause of igc failures.
* standard CPU loads with all cores firmware code compilation.
* burning 100GB bdxl disks with no problem for ~10h/disk.

All this with ASPM enabled in BIOS and set to L2!! :-)

I even tried to run Cyberpunk 2077 game in Wine on top of all that just to push
the machine to its limits and make some PCI traffic to the GPU. The game runs
smooth and this new Wine stuff is amazing! However old stuff like PLC SDK due
to dedicated drivers is better when contained in the VM (runs solwer but comms
drivers work).

After BIOS update computer seems to run smoother too. Yesterday was a good day
:-)

2.32 firmware seems to fix the issue for my i226-V :-)

This is also good information because I will soon get 7GBps WAN, so I would be
able to see how i226-V behaves at full 2.5GBps.. and the next NIC will be
10GBps.. just not sure if Intel ;-)
