I understood. I am not sure if you need someone inside free-bsd org to take
that role. Currently, I am very committed to the project. I have shipped 13
release to maven central. I maintain other open source projects/utilities as
well with similar vigor.

I was inspired to contribute the port from a conversation on nyc-bug. I believe
there is good alignment here. The approach of deliverance is very open source
and "vendor neutral". Some inference engines that will remain nameless only
work on say a mac or a system with a GPU that only have drivers for specific
operating systems. Deliverance is cross-platform. Even the native bits for
example favor WebGPU WebDawn over an implementation like MLX.
