This is an excellent initiative!

Once you've made a bit of progress on this project, it would be nice to
give it more visibility, for example by proposing an entry in the
quarterly status report.

I'm also Cc:ing Deb (FreeBSD fundation), who might be able to give some
good advice.

Meanwhile, if some of your PRs are stuck, don't hesitate to ping me.
