Hi all,

I know the 15.0-RELEASE period is a busy time for everyone, so first of all: thank you for all the work that goes into ports and releases.

I’m planning to run FreeBSD 15.0-RELEASE on a small HPC-style test setup and will be using it as my primary environment. I’m currently maintaining sysutils/slurm-wlm and have been tracking its dependency chain and related HPC bits in ports.

I’ll be testing Slurm and its dependencies on 15.0, and watching for 15.0-specific fallout in the HPC / parallel computing area (build or runtime issues, poudriere bulk failures, etc.). When I run into problems there, I’ll file PRs and attach patches as usual.

If there are any existing PRs or specific ports in this space where additional testing or investigation on 15.0 would be useful, feel free to point me at them – I’m happy to take a look as part of my setup and testing.

Best regards,
