Bob P. likes to build from source, even on armv7. Some interesting
FreeBSD OS bugs have been discovered based on his armv7 activities and
his reports about them --bugs that were fixed. Some of those bugs were
not armv7 specific but were probably easier to hit on the armv7 than on
tier 1 platforms in any normal tier 1 configuration.


Bob P.'s tier 2 context is armv7 as far as I know. For armv7 there is
only one 15.0 release image:

So there is no armv7 *dvd1.iso* to be found. (Same for 14.[34] .)

Also, as far as I know, Bob is using main [so: 16.0] for armv7, not 15.0
or 14.[34] or 13.5 . There is no release build of main [16.0] for any
platform/architecture.

For main [so: 16.0], for armv7 there is only on snapshot:

So there is no armv7 *dvd1.iso* to be found. So no pre-built
port-packages by that route.

Instructions/notes that might have been appropriate here for riscv64,
powerpc64le, and/or powerpc64 (all are tier-2 examples) do not
necessarily work here for armv7. So up front identification of armv7 as
a context of interest could have helped. Tier-2 status details are not
uniform across all the platforms.

If I understand right, 15.1+ intends on making armv7 also have the other
normal release builds available. So being explicit about armv7 for 15.*
might not be as important once 15.1 is in place .


It also could have helped if main [so: 16.0] had been indicated up
front, given the lack of any releases for it.
