FTR 'portsdb -Uu' and 'portsclean -C' just removes /usr/ports/*/*/work
and leaves these in my case:

/usr/ports/devel/glib20/work-bootstrap
/usr/ports/devel/gobject-introspection/work-bootstrap

which still need manual removal.
