I run a Nextcloud instance on Postgres. I had to switch from my original
SQLite database, but that's another story.

I didn't do anything special to Nextcloud aside from following configuration
documentation at the NC site. I installed PG plus the PHP interface to the
database and that was it. Install software, follow instructions on
configuration, done. 

I don't know what would change when switching from Linux to FreeBSD.
Filesystem paths, of course, but it's the same NC and the same PG so
I expect it's fine.


I just checked, and I guess the reason I have php84-pdo_mysql installed
is because of the default options on the port. Huh. I'll have to change
that at some point. It's really not that important to me, though.

If you want an install of Nextcloud to install the PG PHP support
automatically then just 'make config' in the appropriate ports directory
I believe. Or the equivalent if you use poudriere or whatever other
build system.
