Grehan's solution will not work because the router is not mine. I have done nvram-reset and teset-all. Most Internet posts - after the iMac g5 is entered as the query refer to powernac solutions only. The error message changed from symbolSRR0 to another with both ram sticks now being recognized after switching to the pc4209 non ecc type. The date on the open firmware is stuck at the year 2000. I am not able to use Ethernet, so, I will need to know where a file can be downloaded . I do not have a nacisx disk. The root password was never told to me Is there a way of fixing this or am I just basically screwed?
