Please test the next 14/15 release on mac g5 (was Re: smp g5 testing!)

And it's been MFC'ed to stable/15 and stable/14 as well as the fixes
to the release image building script.

This hopefully means that the next 14.x and 15.x images will once
again boot and install and run on G4 powerpc and G5 powerpc64 macs and
that SMP will work fine again.

I'd appreciate it if people could/would test the pre-release images as
they're built.
