The 'port test' command (ports-mgmt/porttools) tests a port for a number = of possible errors by running portlint, building, packaging, installing, and de-installing with a check for left files. This is done with defined PREF= IX and PKG_DBDIR variables. 'port test' command is recommended by the Porter's H= andbook. Note that the port installs the usual way. $ cd x11/linux-f10-xorg-libs ; port test +++++++++++++++ =3D=3D=3D> Validating port with portlint WARN: /usr/ports/x11/linux-f10-xorg-libs/pkg-plist: [235]: installing cha= rset.alias or locale.alias, please add USE_GETTEXT=3Dyes and use libintl = from devel/gettext instead of from outdated bundled one if possible.
