Is there a particular QNX binary that you want to run, that
doesn't depend on the hard-real-time response that QNX provides?
Or are you discussing a project to actually add the tweaks to
FreeBSD to make it sufficiently realtime, and then add a QNX
message API on top of that, as an emulation layer?

I could be interested in realtime-ifying FreeBSD (or NetBSD).  I
believe that the SMP stuff goes a long way towards that, but I
don't know what else is required.  At a guess it would involve a
different scheduler and a different sense of what process
priorities mean.

Dunno how much time I can devote though.  (epsilon, probably).

I think QNX uses GCC, so probably ELF, these days?
