I don't think much changed: upstream has had very little activity in the Sparc
backend, and we have never found a good way to get to a bootable kernel.  Last
time I tried, on one of the now-defunct reference sparc64 machines, at least
world to built OK, and it also appeared to run OK, in light testing.

That said, if the original submitter would like to try with a fairly recent
clang trunk snapshot, please use the projects/clang-trunk branch instead.
