LLVM still lacks some (many?) things needed to compile FreeBSD kernel. If nothing else, at least this patch (http://lists.llvm.org/pipermail/llvm-commits/Week-of-Mon-20141215/248852.html) is needed. There's also different frame size and probably some other issues.
