I have some Sparc64 hardware myself.  A Sun Fire T2000 server.  Runs OpenBSD just fine.  I tried to get FreeBSD 10.2 installed and the CD boot trapped with illegal instruction.  I don't check this email that often, but I will be willing to run some test builds to see if they will boot/install.
