Hi. Did you try setting 'hw.syscons.disable=1' in /boot/loader.conf? I faced a similar-sounding issue which was resolved by that (see thread http://freebsd.1045724.x6.nabble.com/System-lockup-on-kldload-amdgpu-td6311644.html ).
