It is Sandy Bridge which I believe is the same as your X200. While the artifacts disappear after a while, I can immediately exit X (I start X with startx, so I just logout to get back to the shell) and start it again. No issues after restarting. I run the same drm-fbsd12.0-kmod-4.16.g20190722_1 but I am running mesa-dri-19.0.0, a proposed update that has not been committed and is now EOL. Looks like an initialization issue of some sort. I have never seen this except on the first start of X after a boot. It's only an annoyance, but I really should open a bug report. I am not familiar with doing this on github where the FreeBSD X work is being done, so I've been procrastinating. -- Kevin Oberman, Part time kid herder and retired Network Engineer E-mail: [email protected] PGP Fingerprint: D03FB98AFA78E3B78C1694B318AB39EF1B055683 _______________________________________________ [email protected] mailing list https://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-x11 To unsubscribe, send any mail to "[email protected]"
