--- Comment #173 from Niclas Zeising <[email protected]> ---
(In reply to Chris Hutchinson from comment #171)
Hi!
As others have already told you, nVidia driver version 304 is not supported by
xserver 1.20. Since this is a binary driver, unfortunately you have to talk to
nVidia about this, and see if they can make the driver support xserver 1.20
As for the other issues, I suggest that you try using xf86-input-libinput
instead of xf86-input-evdev. xf86-input-libinput should have been installed if
you use the standard configuration, but if you have adjusted xorg-drivers, or
is not installing xorg-drivers at all, this might not be the case.
I also suggest that you try without any xorg configuration at all, it should
not be needed. Regarding the keyboard, please provide the output of setxkbmap
-query. For the mice, please try to set the sysctl kern.evdev.rcpt_mask=12,
and if you are using a laptop with a touchpad, try setting
hw.psm.synaptics_support=1 and hw.psm.trackpoint=1 in /boot/loader.conf and
restart the system.
