https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=196678 --- Comment #179 from Chris Hutchinson <[email protected]> --- (In reply to Niclas Zeising from comment #177) > There is no such thing as evdev_enable=YES Right. I performed some further investigation after my post here, and discovered I had udev only (for rc.conf). > but if you have a custom kernel config... I'm on GENERIC as supplied from official install media. As I understand it. (recent) GENERIC comes with evdev support in it. I'm on a 2 week old 13/current. So I think I must have it already. Yes? For the record. For the last decade I've built all of my deployments on a dedicated builder for all my rollouts. So I'm never subjected to any irregularities. This was essentially my first install from official media in ten years. It was an effort to evaluate usability from a first time users standpoint. In all fairness, 13/current is not the best candidate for this. But I also needed a 13/current to test ports I maintain on. So this was my first choice for the evaluation. Thanks for the reply, Niclas. :) --Chris -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ [email protected] mailing list https://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-x11 To unsubscribe, send any mail to "[email protected]"
