Problem with drm-fbsd11.2-kmod: EDID failure

I've filed a PR for this: https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=245730 I was unable to switch to the drm-fbsd11.2-kmod driver because EDID failed with it (and I'm not using EFI). The problem has been documented and is actually fixed in drm-fbsd12.0-kmod: https://github.com/FreeBSDDesktop/kms-drm/pull/51/commits/5dd56174b9de5d564785c5841b1fc1f309d6e0cd There's a patch file for the port attached to the PR. The new xorg-server and its incompatibility with the legacy ati driver made it necessary to switch to this port.
