LoginD is a specification of a service for DBUS API:
https://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Software/systemd/logind/

Its implementation is called ELoginD and it is taken out from systemd
as separate project.. it seems to be GPLv2 though.. ;-):

Having this logind in FreeBSD will allow easy porting of Wayland
compositors. Looks like something we will challenge anyway.
