I recently rebuild my system at commit 4ad93073a17d579625217084b7831e5419c7758f
and the hang at kldload doesn't happen any more.

I did this enticed by the comment from the slighty earlier
1e010401b80196ac5904ad4e8b8b9589e61394b4 : "Fixes startup lockup of i915kms
after update to drm-kmod v5.12".

Although the port is drm 5.10 and it is not clear if the comment means a fix to
the just preceding, linuxkpi-related, commit or to a more general issue, this
seemed like it may be possibly relevant.

I did not try to verify if that was it that made a difference, though.
