I think you would need to rebuild the kernel with debug symbols:
so with a file like:
root@dufresnep:/var/crash # cat /etc/make.conf
WITH_DEBUG=YES
DEBUG_FLAGS= -g -O0
root@dufresnep:/var/crash #
