Broken checksum due to recompression or index abbreviation size isn't specific
to GitHub but also happens with GitLab, Gitea and sourcehut. Following comment
1 suggestion would help but suboptimal as GitLab injects unique hash into URLs
of non-automatic files.

Anyway, obsolete after ports 16bde072b16d.
