I meant the first time. That is, this is still happening.

Now I'm trying to get at least one crash under X11. Using sway, it can happen
almost immediately after opening a file in GIMP, but also it may not happen at
all.

I have a vague suspicion that the crash may only be triggered with certain
files. There were definitely a few crashes with this one:
