libreoffice failing to launch on 14.1

So... while my workstation is in pieces, I'm living 100% on FreeBSD in the
basement.

... and I'd like libreoffice to run, but it says (cryptically):

... which some older posts online says something about mesa-dri --- but I'm
running up-to-date ports for libreoffice and mesa-dri:

Note also that GLXGears runs fine and other "big" apps like chromium,
firefox, thunderbird and gimp are happy.  Firefox was even happy to play in
foundry last night (an RPG tabletop that hits the 3D hardware pretty hard).
