Ahh, I see. Thanks for having a look!

For the sake of being a bit cleaner it would be nice if arch specific args were 
handled by each if statement rather than being overridden.

..also PORTVERSION = DISTVERSION

Unit tests passes on at least Tier 1 platforms?
