            Bug ID: 285111
           Summary: [regression] graphics/drm-61-kmod: Unable to load
                    module on 14.1-RELEASE
           Product: Ports & Packages
           Version: Latest
          Hardware: Any
                OS: Any
            Status: New
          Severity: Affects Only Me
          Priority: ---
         Component: Individual Port(s)
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
             Flags: maintainer-feedback?([email protected])
          Assignee: [email protected]

Just updated packages on my M92p-tiny i5 system, and DRM no longer works. I'm
now running in VESA mode.

Intel GPU detected.
    vendor     = 'Intel Corporation'
    device = 'Xeon E3-1200 v2/3rd Gen Core processor Graphics Controller'
    class      = display

dmesg.boot:

KLD drm.ko: depends on linuxkpi_video - not available or version mismatch
linker_load_file: /boot/modules/drm.ko - unsupported file type
KLD i915kms.ko: depends on drmn - not available or version mismatch
linker_load_file: /boot/modules/i915kms.ko - unsupported file type

I tried rebuilding drm-61-kmod from source, even though I'm running 14.1, on
which the package is built. It made no difference.

Regarding linuxkpi_video, 284737 refers to "the one in base", but it does not
exist:

# find /boot -name linuxkpi\*
/boot/kernel/linuxkpi.ko
/boot/kernel/linuxkpi_wlan.ko
/boot/kernel/linuxkpi_hdmi.ko
/boot/kernel.old/linuxkpi.ko
/boot/kernel.old/linuxkpi_wlan.ko
/boot/kernel.old/linuxkpi_hdmi.ko
