I just did a fresh 14.1 RELEASE amd64 installation on my Thinkpad T470s with
drm-61-kmod and I can confirm the same error message when trying to load
i915kms. Switching to drm-515-kmod worked fine. All packages were from pkg
binary with GENERIC kernel.
