FYI: The prior artifact snapshot available (2024-Nov-02 date
and that that was llvm 18.1.6 based):

https://artifact.ci.freebsd.org/snapshot/stable-14/17d39df524a5003131398bc9fbdf8c9fef043d05/arm64/aarch64/base.txz

# file /bin/sh
/bin/sh: ELF 64-bit LSB pie executable, ARM aarch64, version 1 (FreeBSD),
dynamically linked, interpreter /libexec/ld-elf.so.1, for FreeBSD 14.2
(1402500), FreeBSD-style, stripped

does not have the problem:

# cc -Wl,--version-script=environ-_progname-2.map environ-_progname.c -o
environ-_progname
#
