I discovered this issue while investigating why doesn't the Window Capture
feature work in OBS Studio:
https://github.com/obsproject/obs-studio/issues/12077

As it turned out, GL_OES_EGL_image is commonly available on Linux, but not on
FreeBSD for some reason.
