It looks like this PR is a duplicate of PR 277476.  I'd suggest to retest with
stable/14 or a pre-release of 15.0, and if possible drm-kmod git instead of the
ports (they have not been updated yet).  Even if using ports, which means
you'll sometimes notice short freezes, you should see a huge difference
overall.
