I am closing this bug per jbeich's assessment that the proper solution is
setting CPUTYPE in make.conf rather than patching the port. The submitted patch
targets graphics/mesa-libs and graphics/mesa-dri which have since been
restructured. The issue was on FreeBSD 12.3 (EOL) with old i386 hardware, and
the consensus was that no port change is needed.
