I am closing this bug because sway has been updated from 1.8.1_2 to 1.11 with
modern wlroots support, replacing the deprecated wlroots016. The visual
artifacts and reboots were on Intel HD 2000 (Sandy Bridge) with drm-510-kmod.
The reporter never provided the kernel crash backtrace requested by
[email protected], and there has been no activity since January 2024.
