I am closing this bug because tatsuki_makino@ identified the root cause as an
upstream Firefox change in CaptureRollupEvents that checks XDG_SESSION_DESKTOP.
A known workaround exists: `export XDG_SESSION_DESKTOP=twm` in .xinitrc. This
is an upstream Firefox behavioral change affecting non-standard window
managers, not a ports bug. It would need to be addressed upstream in Firefox.
